CAPTURING MALLORCA'S SOUL

Capturing Mallorca’s Soul -
Wine Photography at Finca Ses Talaioles for Torquato

There is something truly magical about the golden hour in Mallorca. Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of heading out into the lush countryside for a very special brand shoot, blending high-end lifestyle, exquisite wine, and authentic family heritage.

As a photographer, capturing a brand’s story is always an adventure, but this project was extra special. I teamed up with the renowned German lifestyle online shop Torquato to capture the visual campaign for their brand-new, exclusive wine collection. And where better to showcase these bottles than right where they are born?

Behind the Lens: A Sunset Photoshoot at Ses Talaioles Vineyard

Our stage for the day was the breathtaking Finca Ses Talaioles, a picturesque Mallorcan vineyard nestled in the heart of the island. The visual concept was all about authenticity and togetherness. Instead of a sterile studio set, we brought the new wine collection to life in its natural habitat.

We started the afternoon on the lovely, sun-drenched patio of the historic finca, styling the new wines alongside incredible, locally inspired food that made your mouth water. The atmosphere was relaxed yet sophisticated, a true celebration of Mediterranean lifestyle.

Next, we wandered out into the vines. Photographing the vineyard owners alongside the three brothers who run Torquato was an absolute breeze. These aren’t just business partners; they are passionate people with a deep respect for craftsmanship and nature. As the sun began to dip below the horizon, painting the Mallorquin sky in warm hues of amber, rose, and gold, we captured some truly stunning portraits right between the heavy, sun-ripened grapes and against the backdrop of the majestic finca.

More Than Just a Photoshoot: A Night to Remember

When the last rays of sunlight faded and the cameras were packed away, the workday transitioned into something unforgettable. I was warmly invited to join the vineyard family and the Torquato brothers for a long, wonderful dinner under the Mallorcan stars. Sharing incredible food, endless laughter, and, of course, glasses of the newly released wine was the ultimate way to wrap up the project.

It’s moments like these that remind me why I love being a lifestyle and commercial photographer in Mallorca. Connecting passionate creators, beautiful landscapes, and great stories through imagery is a true privilege.
